All of this month’s items!

Naked Cosmetics Holographic Highlighter Collection – Value $39.99

Wow! The packaging alone on this one has me sold.  I have never realllllly wanted a colorful highlighter palette, but holy shit, this thing is BEAUTIFUL. The formula is soft and smooth and the color payoff, lawd jesus! I really don’t feel like I have the words to describe how happy I truly am to own this palette. Also, I’ve seen an idea to try out; use these as eye shadow!

Crown WH100 3PC PRO BRUSH TRIO – Value $29.99

Hunnie, yessssss!! Brushes are something I feel I could never have enough of.  Especially precious white & pink ones like these! I have been needing a new concealer brush, so it’s super clutch that there is one included. I used the small brush for concealer, the medium brush for bronzer & a little blending, and the large brush for setting everything in place with translucent powder.  I loooove Crown brushes and this set will absolutely get used more.

COVER FX Shimmer Veil in ‘Amethyst’ – Value $28

This is the item I was most excited for this month. It’s a shimmery liquid eye shadow that dries down into a powder. There are several products like this one out there, but sadly, I have never tried any of them! So, at first this product is gorgeousss.  Seriously stunning.  But then after a few hours, I have to say it became kind of flakey.  I suggest using a light hand with this stuff.  I think a lighter layer would stay on the lid longer than when it’s really packed on.

Seraphine Botanicals Sugar + Lemon Moisturizing Lip Buffer – Value $24

I love lemon flavored anything! This is hands down the best lip scrub I’ve ever used. My lips feel both moisturized and smooth! Total win.

Vintage Cosmetics Smokey Eye Pencil in ‘Black’  – Value $21

I don’t typically get too excited about getting eye pencils in black, but this one seriously impressed me!  And I’m glad it does, because $21 is pretty expensive for an eye pencil!  The formula is SO smooth and gel-like.  It just glides so easily.  And the color is a rich & beautiful deep dark black. Now, I wouldn’t call it smudge proof, but since it claims to be a ‘smokey eye pencil’ that’s a great thing! it’s not going to make you look like a raccoon unless you forget your wearing makeup & rub your eyes.  But with a pencil, that’s pretty much to be expected.

OVERALL VERDICT: The value was beyond there and the products were on point and even went well with the ‘Galaxy Glow’ theme. I have and will continue to use everything that was in this box. Boxycharm is something I always look forward to and this month certainly did not disappoint.

I got the box with the ofra EMPTY palette and 1 small pan in a Brown blush. Super disappointing for me. Worse box ever! And I have had a boxycharm subscription going on 2 years!

Hopefully next month will be better for ya. I’m so excited about the eyeshadow palette!! I was kinda shocked to see that we would either be getting the Ofra z-palette & one blush or the Naked highlighter palette. Not very comparable! I was just hoping I didn’t end up with the glitter instead of one of the lip scrubs! 😂
