ipsy always provides us with this handy card that explains a little bit about the current month’s glam bag!

Reeeeaaaally digging this month’s bag! Serving faux leather studded realness. The inside is a solid cobalt blue. Very unique contrast.

All of this month’s items!

Eva NYC Zero Gravity Volume Powder – VALUE $10.95

My hair needs all of the volumizing products I could possibly get my hands on.  So this volume powder was VERY welcomed! Holy heck, guys. This product works! And it’s just about a gram shy of being full-sized! This stuff is the truth, it’s kind of a sticky strange textured powder, that being said, a little goes a loooong way. Also, this must have come loose a little bit in my glambag. Tere was a slightly sticky coating on all of my products. Anyone else who received this have that issue?

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer – Radiance – Value $9.75

The Original Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer is no stranger to showing up in subscription boxes, however, this was my first time to receive the Radiance version. Now, I wouldn’t consider the Smashbox Primer a favorite, but it’s solid and I will use it. I don’t hate it. And this version gave my skin such a nice glow from within look even with my full coverage foundation on. Props for that! (Swatched below)

ColourPop Brow Boss in Light Brown – VALUE $5 (Full Size)

I was really excited to get this product, and I hate to say it, but it disappointed me. I love Colourpop! Their Liquid Lipsticks are to die for and come in sooooo many colors. The Brow Boss was just a miss for me though. The Light Brown color I received is recommended for dark blonde to medium brown hair, which I thought would be perfect. But Honestly, it just kind of disappears on me. And be forewarned, the brush is STIFF. I ran it through my eyebrows and it immediately irritated my skin and turned it red. (Swatched below)

Dear, Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner – VALUE $4.25

Oooo, I love this toner. I typically use Witch hazel for my toner, so this was completely different. This stuff does exactly what it says it will.  It gives my face the balanced look I need my toner to give me while also making my skin feel moisturized. I think I like this stuff enough to buy the full sized bottle when I run out of this.

P.R.M.I.T Beauty GELusion in January (Capricorn) – VALUE $11 (Full Size)

Yassss, ipsy, thank you for the perfect Fall shade.  This deep red is supposed to mimic Garnet, which is the birthstone of January (hence the name of the polish)! This polish is 9-free, Non-Toxic, Vegan, & Cruelty  Free. And don’t you just love a gel polish that doesn’t require a UV or LED Lamp? (Swatched below)

I know, I know. Worst nail polish job ever..  Don’t let my ugly painting take away from the fact that this gel formula is amazing and the color is the PERFECT deep blood red for Fall.

 (From Top to Bottom)
ColourPop Brow Boss – Light Brown
Smashbox Primer – Radiance

OVERALL VALUE: $40.95
OVERALL VERDICT: THE VALUE WAS THERE AND THE PRODUCTS WERE ON POINT AND EVEN WENT WELL WITH THE ‘Like. A. Boss.’ THEME. I HAVE AND WILL CONTINUE TO USE EVERYTHING THAT WAS IN THIS BOX. ipsy IS SOMETHING I ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO AND THIS MONTH WAS NO EXCEPTION.
