Here, my box is opened, but untouched.

All of this month’s items!

Colourpop Ultra satin lip in ‘Littlestitious’ – VALUE $6

I have been a huge Colourpop fan for a few years now. That being said, this is my very first Ultra Satin Lip ever. And wow, I can’t believe I missed out on it for so long! The formula is amazing. It’s almost matte, but has a little sheen to it. This might not sound too glamorous, but it really reminds me of wet paint. And the color, y’all! Yassss! Don’t hate me, but I am SO sick of getting almost the exact same lip color in every beauty box each month.  You know the one, *cough* *cough*, lookin’ at you, terracotta.  But seriously, I am so appreciative for receiving a color unlike any I already have.  And the pigmentation is perfect, what you see is what you get with Colourpop! Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair!™ Deep Conditioning Mask – VALUE $18

10/10 would buy again. I mean, it’s not just over the top “WOAH, MY HAIR HAS NEVER BEEN BETTER!” But that really doesn’t happen when it comes to my hair. My hair is primarily two things; fine & thin… There just isn’t much to it.  Also it’s longggg (about mid-back) and dry. (I’m so sorry if y’all are picturing gross witch hair, I promise it’s not THAT bad.) So this mask moisturized my tresses in a way that was so desperately needed.  And for that, I thank the. Love you, Briogeo, mean it.

STUDIO MAKEUP LUMINOUS LOOSE BLUSH – VALUE $35

I was in desperate need of a new blush and Boxycharm saved the day. YAYThe pigment is strong, so a little goes a long way.  It’s oh so perfect for adding a little touch of pink to those cheekbones to make them pop. Oddly enough, I could not find this product on Studio Makeup’s website, so I went with the value that Boxycharm gave us on our product card. (swatched below)

PÜR cosmetics Soiree Diaries Eyeshadow Palette – VALUE $34

The star of my box this month. Boxycharm has been sending us a lot of eyeshadow palettes lately, but hey!  I certainly am not mad about it. I live in nude & neutrals, so this palette is right up my alley. Also, helloooo, look at the marbled packaging!  GORGEOUS. And the included mirror is a nice touch.  All in all, this palette is solid. (swatched below)

Mac Cosmetics Eyebrow Pencil in ‘Spiked’ – VALUE $18

Okay, this one was an all around miss for me. I LOVE brow products, and even though I’m a little predispositioned to dislike MAC, I was excited to give them a fair chance with this pencil. First, the color, y’all… There were two choices, Spiked (a rich brunette) and Lingering (a soft taupe brown). I primarily where Anastasia Beverly Hills brow products and I ALWAYS choose their color ‘taupe’.  It’s the perfect match for my dirty blonde/light brown hair.  So imagine my surprise when I saw that I had received the ‘rich brunette’ color… Next issue, maybe I’m a dummy, but it was HARD to figure out how to make the product come out of the pencil. I guess the one thing I can gleam from this product is it’s pigmented and smooth instead of dry and crumbly like some pencils are. (swatched below)

Bareminerals Perfecting Face Brush – VALUE $28

Come through, Bareminerals! This brush is amazing. I used to put my foundation on by lightly bouncing my beautyblender sponge across my skin until I reached my desired coverage. But for now, this brush has changed up my routine! I just pump a little of my foundation onto the fluid reservoir of the brush and then buff it onto my skin until I reach my desired coverage. This brush easily gets you to how much or how little coverage you would like to achieve.

(From Top to Bottom)
Soiree Diaries – Private Party, Socialite, Gala, Mogul, Splurge, Stunner, Snazzy, Epic, Glitzy, Twinkle, Dazzle, Cosmo
MAC Eyebrow Pencil – Spiked
Studio Makeup Luminous Loose Blush
ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip – Littlestitious

This look was created using everything in my box!

OVERALL VALUE: $139
OVERALL VERDICT: THE VALUE WAS beyond THERE AND THE PRODUCTS WERE ON POINT AND EVEN WENT WELL WITH THE ‘Boxy Baddie’ THEME. I HAVE AND WILL CONTINUE TO USE EVERYTHING THAT WAS IN THIS BOX, minus the mac eyebrow pencil, which I will find a more suited home. Boxycharm IS SOMETHING I ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO AND THIS MONTH certainly did not DISAPPOINT.
